We created the Blood Sugar Fix because in our combined clinical experience of almost 20 years working with hundreds of women we have consistently found a common theme; blood sugar dysregulation. Regardless if their primary complaints are weight gain, chronic fatigue, PCOS, anxiety, gut dysfunction, or brain fog- balancing their blood sugar always plays a primary role in getting women back to vibrant health and a body they love.

To put it simply, a balanced blood sugar = a balanced life. This one metric has a massive impact on our physical and mental wellbeing, and the way we feel every moment of the day. The notion that only diabetics or those diagnosed with hypoglycemia or an elevated fasting glucose need to be aware of their blood sugar couldn’t be farther from the truth. Jessica felt like a hollow shell of the energetic, motivated, and outgoing woman she once was.
As a mom of a toddler and business owner, she felt like she was drowning.
Her symptoms started with mid-day crashes and needing a second (or third) cup of coffee to get through her day.
This was unusual for her, but most of her friends experienced the same thing so she chalked it up to “mom life.” But as time went on, new or worsening symptoms began to stack up until she barely recognized herself.
The brain fog made work difficult.
New breakouts around the chin, hair-loss, and 10 pounds that seemed to come out of no-where left Jessica feeling frustrated and self-conscious.
She found herself wanting to stay home and avoid being social more often than not. On top of that, her cycles were becoming irregular. They would come early, late, or not at all.
What was happening?!!
Jessica tried a few things she saw on Instagram. A juice cleanse that left her feeling worse than ever, hundreds of dollars in supplements that seemed to do nothing, and a short stint with the KETO diet which caused her anxiety to ramp up big time.
After seeing her doctor and running a few tests, she was diagnosed with PCOS. She was happy to finally have some answers, but was not satisfied with just taking birth control to mask her symptoms. After doing some of her own research, she discovered that PCOS is linked to insulin resistance. As she dug further, she was shocked to find that ALL of her symptoms seemed to be pointing to irregular levels of insulin and glucose.
Jessica knew she needed to make a change, but needed help to do it. She finally had some hope that she could feel like herself again.
Jessica found our practice and we assured her that her self-assessment was correct! Her blood sugar was playing a major role in her symptoms and her diet and lifestyle was to blame.
Jessica ate up all the education and guidance we provided on how to flatten her glucose curve, We provided her with a continuous glucose monitor to give her real-time feedback on which snacks and meals were keeping her stable, and which were creating hormonal chaos.
She couldn’t believe how many “healthy” foods were creating a glucose rollercoaster in her body.

A CGM is a wearable device that can track your blood sugar levels continuously, in real time.
The device is inserted under the skin on your arm via a small needle and measures your blood glucose every few minutes and is tracked on your phone.
CGM's help you personalize your nutrition and empower you to make food and lifestyle choices that are unique to you and guided by your bodies own data!
